What is the study about?

The purpose of this study is to get a better understanding of the role of sleep biology in the processing of unpleasant or stressful information. The study involves one laboratory session lasting approximately 6 hours at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. The week following the laboratory visit will include filling out some surveys from your phone and wearing a wristband device that measures the motion of your arm.

How do I know if I qualify?

If you are a generally healthy veteran or non-veteran between the ages of 25-50, you may be a good candidate.

Compensation:

Participants will be compensated for their time with up to $180-190 for completion of the study ($20/hour during the laboratory visit.)
